First of all, I am sorry that this question is not djgpp-specific. (PLEASE IGNORE THIS MSG. IF YOU MIND.) (Q1) I might need to write a C program to set a environmental variable under msdos, but the env string set by putenv() will not be kept after returning to dos. How do I set the environmental var in the dos's master(parent) env space? (Q2) Some user-interface shell(Windows file manager + Toolbar) automatically suppy the full path info for a file using backslashes in path string, but some unix-like programs need '/' instead of '\' in its argument string. Is there a small utility performing the path string conversion from dos-style to unix-style? (i.e. a possible command form would be "unixpath unix-style-prog path\file", then unixpath will issue "unix-style-prog path/file". Or through some batch file ... relevant to (Q1).) Many thanks. Regards, Wonkoo.
