I will try the setver solution, but considering this may then start other utilities off complaining about not being DOS 6 :-( I may just dig in with debug and hack the EXE. What got me started on all of this was the errors from compiling the new version of BCCGRX, and now, having reinstalled everything (outside of regenerating the GRN's, which shouldn't matter) I still get the same errors on linking: MAKE Version 3.5 Copyright (c) 1991 Borland International Available memory 567328 bytes gcc -O -Wall -I../INCLUDE bccbgi.o ../LIB/libbcc.a -lgrx -lm -o bccbgi bccgrx03.o: Undefined symbol __grx_arc_xc referenced from text segment bccgrx03.o: Undefined symbol __grx_arc_yc referenced from text segment (more grx_arc stuff) bccgrx10.o: Undefined symbol __grx_arc_yc referenced from text segment bccgrx10.o: Undefined symbol __grx_arc_xc referenced from text segment (still more ...) ** error 1 ** deleting bccbgi.exe Is this an obvious trap I've fallen into? I have some code written for SGI's GL and a borland-based package (VoGL) that I'm attempting to adapt to gcc/DVX, but so far, I'm stuck in the installation stage :-( While I have your attention :-) ... does anyone know if and where I might find updated drivers for DV/X to use 256 colors with a Cirrus or Trident graphics board? Thanks again to everyone and especially DJ: this list is by far the most excellent tech-support system I've seen in my 15 years of computing!
