This is an interesting idea for 1.11 also, although I think you can escape the '@' with a backslash. Personally, I'd rather not mess with this one. What I can do is preserve the argument if it is not a file. I don't understand what you mean with `mess'. Maybe my point was not clear. I just suggested to move the response file expansion routine from go32 to libc. Dieter
