I ask because I feel my setup could be better: I'm limping along with EMM386 (DR6.0) and it's associated performance penalties. I'd like to rid myself of this driver, maintain compatibility with go32 *and* still load my device drivers high. What are my options? I fear the overwhelming answer is going to be QEMM or 386MAX (which I don't want to buy). What are your experiences with the alternatives, such as UMBDrvr.sys, The-Last-Byte, etc? vvvvvvvvvvvvvvv PLEASE REPLY TO: ste AT sees DOT bangor DOT ac DOT uk and I'll post a summary. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Thanks, Steve. ] School of Electronic Engineering and Computer Systems ] University of Wales ] Steve James BSc Dean Street ] ste AT sees DOT bangor DOT ac DOT uk Bangor, Gwynedd ] Fax: +44 (0)248 361429 LL57 1UT ] Tel: +44 (0)248 351151 X2723 UK
