If you build gcc et al as a cross-development system, the linker
should produce S-records by default, provided you configured it
correctly.  The linker that comes with djgpp will not - it only
produces a.out and coff.

If you can't get more help than this, you might need to contact Cygnus
for help - they wrote those parts of the system.  I think their
address is support AT cygnus DOT com, but keep in mind that they *sell*
service, they don't always give it away.
