How many unix programs will break when you change this?  It sounds
like an easy change.

in 1.10, it calls sleep(x/1000).  I got a new version for 1.11 that
uses the millisecond clock for more accuracy.

strcasecmp() (the BSD version).  I'll put stricmp on the list to add.
