They were very helpful. I got the "supplementary" binaries and suddenly everything started working. The "compress.c" compiled & linked in no time flat, as did the "sort.cc" program. Some people replied the 1.10 is basically a "beta" release, that it has some bugs, etc. Is there a list somewhere of what the known bugs are? Has a "schedule" (informal or formal) been set for the next future release? As far as the documentation goes, I'll post messages when I have had more experience with the compiler. From what I've heard, it soumds like a hypertext system is needed for this compiler. This is not technically difficult, it is just time consuming. (It's much easier if the ascii flat files are already very organized.) I had another question that I meant to ask in my last posting. I know that there is a "class library" for g++ that has a lot of container classes and other "generic" C++ classes that would save me a lot of time (being a C++ programmer). Has this been ported to djgpp? If not why not? I could probably volunteer for this task. Once again, thanks everyone for your help, and I'll be looking forward to a time when GRX works with version 1.10. -Mark T. Pflaging
