I found quite a while ago that the trident drivers that were distributed
with the djgcc package did not work on my trident card.  I got the cbgrx
package and saw that there was an updated trident driver that works on
newer trident cards.  I started using it and now my trident card works.
Maybe this driver can be included in the basic distribution.
