I use doublespace w/o problems. For fun, I tried to compile and run the grtask stuff, but it doesn't draw anything (using standard vga driver on 486SL contura notebook). I don't need the graphics stuff though and a cache simulator I have been using on the sparcs compiles and runs great. FYI, I mainly am using djgpp under DPMI. It is support for this that caused me to take a closer look at djgpp. It is a great port. I'm ecstatic that I can compile and and run 32 bit gcc programs on my notebook. Very little effort. Also, stacker 3.0 doesn't have any problems with gcc (stacker and dos 5 and stacker and dos 6). I use stacker on my 386/387 dx desktop. Rich
