Subject: Does anyone know about .DIF file format

I am working on a project in which I need to exchange data and would like
this specification to use as a standard for input/output. The application
is a flavor of a database system. If there are other standard formats that
I should be looking at, please let me know. The reason for posting here
is due to the wealth of PC knowledge that exists here.
