There was a message a week or so ago about having trouble running 
djgpp stuff on one of these machines.  I can't remember if it was the 
compiler and friends or go32 stuff.  Anyway I loaded a bunch of the 
FSF utilities and have had no problems.  As I now have a machine that 
will run djgpp I'll be loading the compiler this week and advise if I 
run into any problems.
     
fyi, 16Meg RAM, DR DOS 6.0 (dumped MS DOS 6 real fast), and 
DESQView/X (I love seeing (NOT using) WinDoze in an X-Window).
