Yes, I had this exprience once just after installation. But, this went away when I restarted(power on reset) my computer. The error was never reproduced on my system (486-25MHz/8MB/msdos 5.0/qemm6.01). It was strange to me since I didn't modify any environmental variables in upgrade from 1.09/2.2.2 to 1.10/2.4.1.
