From: gt8741b AT prism DOT gatech DOT edu Subject: General questions To: djgpp AT sun DOT soe DOT clarkson DOT edu (djgpp mailing list) Date: Wed, 2 Jun 1993 17:19:36 -0400 (EDT) I am new to both this mailing list and djgpp, so please excuse me if these questions are in a FAQ somewhere. First of all, how close is the distribution gcc source to source for djgpp? Is it possible, for instance, that once I have one version of djgpp, I can just get the distribution for gcc as new versions come out and compile them myself? Also along these lines, is it possible to make a cross-compiler for 386's running DOS on another machine? (This would be nice: I could compile something like NetHack a whole lot faster on some of the school's computers than on mine! ;-> ) Well, those are a few questions I have had so far. I am sure that I will think up more as I go along. -- Chris Adams | "Don't touch that!
