From: Hallvard Paulsen Subject: Exception 5 at program exit? To: djgpp AT sun DOT soe DOT clarkson DOT edu Date: Mon, 3 May 93 13:20:36 METDST Mailer: Elm [revision: 66.25] Hello all you djgpp gurus.. I've just installed djgpp on my 486DX with 8 mb RAM. The reason for installing the compiler was to take advantage of the ram directely since I'm doing some work on image data. My problem is that after my program has finished there is some hd activity and finaly the message : Exception 6 (0x6) at eip=72c01000 comes onscreen. The program itself seems to do what I want it to do.. I've got some quite large (static) arrays in the program if that makes any difference.. I've looked through the documentation, but can't find out what this message means. Any clues? -- \\___// | | Hallvard Paulsen, MSc |_____| Research Engineer / Grad.
