From: jhorigan AT mipos2 DOT intel DOT com (John Horigan) Subject: Western Digital VGA drivers To: djgpp AT sun DOT soe DOT clarkson DOT edu (DJGPP mailing list) Date: Tue, 13 Apr 93 17:46:00 PDT Hi folks, I have uploaded graphics drivers for the Western Digital WD90C30/WD90C31 VGA chip seen in newer Paradise cards and elsewhere. They are in the file wd90cvga.zip in pub/msdos/djgpp.stuff/contrib at watson.math.niu.edu. There are two drivers in the zipfile, one that uses many features of the VGA chip and a vanilla version that doesn't, either driver might work with other Western Digital VGA chips. The drivers support up to 1024x768x256 color, 1280x1024x16 color, and 132x50 text. The Western Digital documentation is wretched so I couldn't figure out if the chips support >256 colors. Enjoy. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- John W.
