In response to my query about full featured debugging tools for djgpp, I was directed toward EMX which has gdb. The current question is Do EMX and its gdb and executables run under DVX? Any other comments about switching from djgpp to EMX? In followup to my own comment about problems with DVX, I would like to say that the problems have disappeared and DVX is doing close enough to what I want (mutiple DOS and remote UNIX sessions with windowing ftp). The bad news is that I don't know why the problems have disappeared. I am cautiously, deliriously happy. The handling of remote X clients has been flawless but that is not my major interest in DVX. And while I gushing, this list is great. Jerry Gordon gordon AT med DOT unc DOT edu
