Subject: stupid omnigate question

I was once advised:

	omnigate.clarkson.edu has an archive server that can mail you the
	files.  To get help on the archive server, send mail to
	archive-server AT omnigate DOT clarkson DOT edu, with the word "help" as the
	message (not subject).

I sent mail to that address (twice!) a week ago, and have not heard so
much as an acknowledgement of my request.  Is this server really so slow,
or must I be doing something wrong?  Does anybody have guesses what I
might be doing wrong?  The directions sound so clear I can't imagine where
I could be flubbing it.
