Since there always seems to be a number of people trying to 
unsubscribe by sending messages to this list instead of to the
list server, why not change the reply you get when subscribing.
Something like
	Re: your request to listserv blah blah
	gordon AT minsk DOT docs was added to djgpp
	to unsubscribe send (insert correct command here)
	               to (insert correct address here)
might be appropriate.
