If so, perhaps an upgrade to djgpp 1.09 is in order. If I remember correctly, ver. 1.08 was resetting the serial port on every swap. I think mouse drivers often reset the port themselves or are such that they don't care much, but clicking around a bit might cause enough activity to get the mouse and DV/X to get confused and freeze. I occasionally get DV/X to freeze. The culprit is normally File Manager in Remote Host (FTP mode). Since I run the PC/TCP TCP/IP drivers all the time, I suspect an interaction with them when File Manager is *not* running. Do you have a network driver running?
