Physical mapping of the whole video page will always have to be optional, 64K video memory banks will always have to be supported. Also, the 16MB limitation is specific to my chipset (the Western Digital 90C31), other chipsets probably support a 32 bit address space, certainly go32v2 should support physical mapping to any 1MB block regardless of the limitations of individual chipsets, unsupportable requests would be ignored.
