Distribute info formated docs and/or gcc.dvi instead. If people do not have tex or Demacs on their DOS, the texinfo docs are basically useless. There is a utility, called info.exe. I find it very handy even if I have demacs. You can find it on ftp AT oak DOT oakland DOT edu in pub/msdos/gnuish. Also, in the next release, g++lib.info and g++faq.info perhaps should be included. Jim Dai From: Russell Day Date: Thu, 11 Mar 1993 22:32:28 +1000 X-Mailer: ELM [version 2.3 PL11] Also, is there a copy of the documentation anywhere which isnt in tex format? I'd rather not buy a $50 book and spend two weeks studying it just to read a manual for something else. (Unless there is an easy way of converting TEX files to something printable - it seems to be an obscure multi-step process which I would rather not master.) Thanks for the help, Russ. kkk
