Please note -- I run OS/2 which tolerates long filenames, and gcc 2.3.x makes use of this feature. To do a strict DOS port would mean going into the code and munging all the filenames that didn't conform to DOS conventions -- ack! So I'm not sure what I'll do with it at this point; waiting for a copy of 2.3.3 is most definitely part of it, though, since 2.3.2 is said to be buggy. BTW when I said I could make an exe I never said it would be compiled under DJGPP (because of the aforementioned problem). I would probably compile it using EMX... alane AT wozzle DOT linet DOT org (J. Alan Eldridge) Fido: The University of Walamaloo 1:272/38.473
