Date: Fri, 04 Sep 92 11:36:52 +0200 Sender: lwj AT cs DOT kun DOT nl Does there exist a set of patches or such to build an X11R5 server for PC's with DJGPP? You would also need a TCP/IP library, of course. I think that most of the work would be the TCP/IP interface and the keyboard interface, since the stock X11R5 X386 product supports only UNIX systems. Of course the three packages must be integrated as well... At least one commercial PC X product (X/Appeal) was made this way (they used the Waterloo TCP library). Since DJGPP, X11R5 and WATTCP are all freely available, one wonders... -- Luc Rooijakkers Internet: lwj AT cs DOT kun DOT nl Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science UUCP: uunet!cs.kun.nl!lwj University of Nijmegen, the Netherlands tel. +3180652271
