There are zip/unzip programs which are compatible with pk-zip/unzip. They are very portable and run on Unix. MS-DOS PC, VMS, etc. I use them all the time on Ultrix, SCO-UNIX and MSDOS. There is no reason to invent another archive program. > It will > also prevent folks from forgetting the -d switch and allow me to > describe the contents of each archive within itself. Unzip version 4.2 is, by default, uses -d option. Namely it creates sub directories and populate them accordingly. > everyone will have access to it. Any opinions on this? Why not to use/adopt zip/unzip. - Yigal Yigal Hochberg yigal AT unifi DOT com Unifi Communications Corp. Tel: 508-663-7570 4 Federal St. Fax: 508-663-7543 Bellerica, MA 01821
