Reply-To: rcharif AT math DOT utexas DOT edu It might seem a stupid question but are you sure to have enough free space on the drive where gcc is writing its temporary files ? Gcc follows the environment variable TMPDIR to put its temporary files. You will find that you might need more than twice the source file size for temporary files. I use a Ramdisk as a temporary device and gcc used to indicate premature eof when there weren't enough place.
