Hello Steve, (1) Sometimes ago I replied to a mail regarding DOS make programs. I will say it again: by *far* GNU make ported to DOS is the best, and I recommend you to make it your "make" of choice. You don't really need a program to make a makefile, simply create a template and fill it out. In addition create defrules.mak that specifies your rules and include it in every makefile. To create ".c" to ".h" dependency use either (g)cc -M or makedepend from MIT (it takes less than an hour to port it to DOS). (2) Will you please mail me your ibmpc.el. I am also interested of taking advantage of 101 keyboard and bind the "gray" keys to different functions. (why to have duplicates Page Up, Down, Arrows etc.). I know you can do it by setup the keyboard in config.sys to: device=ansi.sys /x, but I don't have the Demacs set/rest to the extra set of key-codes. - Yigal Yigal Hochberg yigal AT unifi DOT com Unifi Communications Corp.
