They contain a lot of the procedures which were patched (such as _rename). I also remember the truely evil rm -rf problem with deep paths. For the most part I have been able to use the standard packages on Win2K without problems in many of the build/tests. I did patch some sbrk()s to get rid of address wrap crashes in the gpc test (address wrap crashes come and go). I so far have not seen problems with sed, bsn, txi, grep, txt, shl, dif, gwk or pat without refreshing - but some of them seem to have the nesting signature.
