I don't remember writing that, but even if I did I wouldn't mind as it
looks like an improvement.

I only want a little more time than one day before people commit
things - say a week or so - in case somebody has objections, he might
not have time to see the proposal otherwise.

If it's a no-brainer (with a relatively lax definition of a no-brainer
- you judge(sp?)) this is obviously doesn't apply.
