I unzipped the source files again, just in case and tried again. The shell output on the second pass is (first pass included a list of files patched): DJGPP C:\dj204\gnu\gdb-5.0>sh ./gdb/config/djgpp/djconfig.sh Checking the unpacked distribution... ok. Editing configure scripts for DJGPP... Running the configure script... configure: Unrecognized option: "--prefix=${DJDIR}"; use --help for usage. The GDB ZIP files I used were: GDB500A ZIP 1,297,382 11-12-00 10:43a gdb500a.zip GDB500B ZIP 1,114,639 11-12-00 10:43a gdb500b.zip GDB500D ZIP 1,490,449 11-12-00 10:43a gdb500d.zip GDB500S ZIP 11,461,634 11-12-00 10:43a gdb500s.zip GDB500S2 ZIP 4,112,327 11-12-00 10:43a gdb500s2.zip The BASH ZIP fiels I used were: BSH204B ZIP 454,018 06-04-01 6:24a bsh204b.zip BSH204D ZIP 1,009,752 12-01-00 4:50p bsh204d.zip BSH204S ZIP 2,179,875 06-04-01 6:36a bsh204s.zip What version of Bash was used to build the GDB library for use with RHIDE? Was GDB (& RHIDE) built on a Win/Dos box or was it cross compiled on a Linux box? I checked the size & date against the released files in the V2GNU on the Simtel Site (ftp.wimtel.net) and they are the same. Should I use Bash 2.05 beta release? Any other suggestions or ideas as to where to look? I can build SETEDIT and DJGPP 2.04 CVS snapshots without any problems (Win 98 PC of course). I am in the process of downloading the Bash 2.05 source from Mark's home page. I will try this after I get back from lunch later today if I do not drink to much. Regards, Andrew
