There's a text file in v2gnu/ that explains where to get it from, if you *really* want it (x2ftp at Oulu University in Finland, if memory serves, or from me if you can't get it there). From time to time I get mails asking for it. Anyway, my point is that I don't think we have to support gcc 2.7.2.x.
