This is only required with non-DJGPP-compiled shells, since any DJGPP 
program inherits DJDIR automatically (unless it disables processing of 
DJGPP.ENV).

You don't need to change anything as long as things work.  Just be aware 
that DJDIR was never meant to be set by hand.
