And you don't want to know what atrocities I see on machines whose problems I sometimes is called upon to solve... PATH that includes directories that don't exist and that nobody remembers why they are there; PATH that overflows (sometimes more than once) and is overwritten (more than once ;-); the list can go on and on. Admittedly, none of the criminals are djgpp-workers, but I submit that djgpp-workers are exactly those who do NOT need the installer, while the criminals do.
