They expect that if you provide binaries via the internet, that you also provide the sources on the same machine. Two reasons: 1. The machine you rely on for sources may not be reachable. 2. The machine you rely on for sources may remove those sources. By providing the sources on the same machine as the binaries, you can ensure that anyone who can get the binaries can also get the sources. This is also one of the reasons that the DJGPP archives always include their own sources zips. DJ
