[snip] From time to time people on comp.os.msdos.djgpp ask where they can get certain utilities, e.g. 'rm' or 'sort'. Keeping the from lines in the directory index may help them find the package they need. The index you posted looks good to me. But I'd like to see some other entries for: * the French translation of the FAQ; * bzip2; * GMP, the GNU multi-precision arithmetic library; * gettext and iconv, the GNU internationalisation libraries and tools. Clearly the French FAQ's entry would go just after the English FAQ's entry. bzip2 could go just after gzip's entry. GMP could go in a 'GNU C libraries' section, just before the current 'GNU C++ libraries' section. gettext and iconv could go in the programmers' tools section, but perhaps they should be in a section of their own. It would be nice if there was an entry for Perl too, but that doesn't come with any info docs. Oh well. Thanks, bye, Rich =] -- Richard Dawe [ http://www.phekda.freeserve.co.uk/richdawe/ ]
