However, please note that the DJGPP Bug-Tracking system is not meant to be used for reporting problem in RHIDE. It is only for reporting bugs in the software distributed as part of v2/dj*.zip packages. The text on the djgpop/bugs/ page says this explicitly: This database is only for bugs in djgpp's core. Do not report bugs for anything other than files that come in one of the v2/dj*.zip files. Do not report gcc bugs here. Do not report Allegro or RHIDE bugs here. Do not request help here. So I suggest to post your problem to the comp.os.msdos.djgpp news group (or send it as email to djgpp AT delorie DOT com, which is the email gateway into that group). It is always advisable to post the questions there first, in case you problem is not a bug, but some setup or usage error, or if there's a newer version of the software where the problem is solved. The bug tracker is for bugs, but it is often hard to know whether you actually see a bug, so posting a question first is always a good idea. Based on what you described, I'd guess that the problem is with your keyboard which generates non-ASCII characters when you press certain keys. But please post all the relevant info to comp.os.msdos.djgpp. I've closed this bug report, since the DJGPP project cannot solve it.
