It's taken me way too long, but I've finally packaged up the first alpha of fileutils 4.0. It's available in source-form only: http://www.phekda.freeserve.co.uk/richdawe/djgpp/fil40s-20000713.zip This is probably of most interest to Eli and Prashant, since fileutils uses some of the library of routines shared with shellutils, textutils. There's still a lot to do - see gnu/filutil4.0/djgpp/readme.alpha - but I think most of the filename-handling problems are fixed. Thanks to Eli for his patches & advice - they made the job of porting a lot easier. I hope I can finish the port off within a month. Any comments/advice/nitpicks would be appreciated. Thanks, bye, Rich =] PS: I'm going away for a couple of days on Friday, so please don't expect a quick response at the weekend. -- Richard Dawe [ mailto:richdawe AT bigfoot DOT com | http://www.bigfoot.com/~richdawe/ ]
