Ok, I made a minimal CONFIG.SYS and AUTOEXEC.BAT on hardware 2 and messed around with "shadow" (and "cached" where there was such an entry) for BIOS and Video and Adapter. No change. Any other ideas? What memory ranges should I exclude? Additionally I discovered that "redir -eo info|less" doesn't crash. Perhaps this should have been expected, but it was a surprise to me.
