Thanks for trying this. It seems that we are shooting in the dark here, and we need some reality checks. Martin, could you please describe your system configuration (hardware, memory manager, CONFIG.SYS, AUTOEXEC.BAT, etc.) where these crashes happen? If you could play with your system configuration and see what parameters have any effect on this problem, it might also help. For example, if the BIOS have a setting to shadow some of the ROM, or if the memory manager has parameters which exclude/include certain memory areas, try changing them. The reason I'm asking for all this is that I think A20 and the HMA are enabled on every system that can remap BIOS. So I don't see how enabling it again could help. If I'm right, then we might be looking in the wrong place.
