But I have another solution: Sinc I'm using only stabs debugging info, I had the problem with a missing symify which understands the stabs. So I wrote my own gsymify, which undertands both formats (since it is based on BFD) and which hs the same (or better) functionallity of symify. There is only one "limitation". Since it is linked with libbfd it is GPL'd and not like symify. If there is general interest of it, I would make a distrib in the near time. But this will not include the BFD lib, the user will be forced to download either binutils sources or gdb sources (hopefully 4.17 in the next time).
