I reported a bug in a 2.8 version a couple days ago. They suggested I get 2.9 or wait for 2.9.1, but I didn't see it on my mirror either. I suppose I'll give it a couple more days; I don't want to cause any more load on ftp.gnu.org than necessary. Incidentally, this is off-topic, but do you know if 2.9.1 works fully on Linux? For 2.8 Linux had all sorts of patched-up releases with numbers like 2.8.1.0.23. I'd guess this was due to special Linux things like dynamic linking, but I really don't know.
