Does anybody know anything about the switch mentioned below?  Is it in
NEWS or in some other docs which come with the source distribution but not
with the DJGPP binaries?  If it's true, I think we should tell people
about it (since some were anxious to read the messages from GCC developers
about 2.7.2.1 being not well-tested).

I also have this problem. I'm just using the -V2.7.2 switch
to use the old version until it gets fixed. You can pass this along
by doing 	make CC="gcc -V2.7.2"  blah_blah
