I tried 20010925 snapshot on Win98 and this indeed solves the "cvs+ssh hang when finished" problem. Brilliant, thanks! However, I've tried 20010925 and 20010927 snapshots on NT4-sp5, and it causes xemacs (self compiled) to ignore any input. More precisely: "xemacs -nw" ignores keyboard input for xemacs-21.1.12 and xemacs-25.1-b2. "xemacs" (windows, not X) works for xemacs-21.1.12 but ignores all mouse & keyboard input for xemacs-25.1-b2. xemacs-21.1.12 was built Nov 2000 (probably with cygwin 1.1.8), while xemacs-25.1-b2 was build Aug 2001 (probably with cygwin 1.3.2). This is all I can say at the moment. I see you made more pipe changes today, so I will also try the next snapshot. I will also try to recompile xemacs with an inst-snapshot if you think that would be helpful. Sorry I don't have more details, but I wanted to alert you to this in case you were about to release. Thanks, David
