I'm having a really hard time understanding why this topic generates so much controversy. All we have to do is set up a simple set of rules and stick with them. Just to reiterate. I know that previous releases have had problems with consistent binmode behavior. I have tried, in recent snapshots, to make this all behave the way I've outlined in previous email. -chris
