I have found a misbehaviour in this snapshot in conjunction with tcsh, either tty or notty mode: Starting a program from commandline runs the process normally, but in 50% of starts, one has to wait for the return of the shell prompt approx. 10 seconds! The same doesn't happen with bash. There is unfortunately _no_ difference in STRACE output! I don't know, where to search... Corinna
