That is to say, the postinstall scripts run tetex-beta binaries (need: cygwin jpeg libncurses6 libpngXX tiff termcap zlib) and scripts (need: ash, awk, ed, sed), but previous releases of tetex-beta didn't seem to have full correct dependencies set. As soon as tetex-beta's dependencies are complete, dependencies of these texmf-* packages may be dropped.
