But this is a problem of the module naming in conjunction to apxs, which is used to patch /etc/httpd.conf. You can turn it the way you want: either apxs misbehaves detecting module internals or module naming is not for apxs. BTW, the same behaviour is seen on UNIX flavors. I think the guys from Apache know about this but seem to accept this module naming mismatch.
