Yes, I believe so.

Yes it seems that way.  In this case that's maybe a bit odd, because
tetex-beta-20001218-1 has a number of problems.

Ok, so maybe adding some test: tags would not hurt.  In any case,
tetex-beta-20001218-3 and texmf-*' tags should be (kept) in sync.
