I'm sorry, but your snapshot as well as building from HEAD (I tried both, native as well as linux-x-cygwin cross building) keep crashing right after I've choosen my mirror site. There's a difference in behaviour though. If I choose a mirror which is in the official mirror list, it seems to download setup.ini first before crashing while when choosing "Other URL" and typing a mirror name, it crashes as soon as I press the return key. This happens on a XP Prof box trying to update and on a XP HE box trying to install from scratch (I cleaned the registry, the install root and the local package directory before each try).
