Good point, the '25 step size is indeed more of a pain than an asset. I 
vote for 1 - 5 - 10 then.
I myself almost exclusively use 0.05, 0.1, 0.5, and 1.0 mm -- and very 
rarely 0.01 mm, mostly when working with non-90° angles in and bends and 
arcs.
Then again, maybe there are people who actually use the other step 
values for good reasons that I haven't thought of yet.
