Why not have directly under 8.8 File Syntax,
 general
  lines, ws, comments
  coordinate system
  parameters
the meaning of [] and () around the parameter list
old, new, angles, numeric/symbolic flags, strings
syntax of objects with ( contents ) vs. without
order within a layout file (.pcb)
 objects
  Arc ...
 flags
 glossary

and for every object, an example showing its use.

That hole section is generated from src/parse_y.y so changing
the text leads us to read the source.
